Howard Woodie McDuffie - Logistics Leader and Community Volunteer

Howard Woodie McDuffie has worked in the transportation and logistics industry for several decades. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business from Mississippi College, supporting himself through school with a variety of jobs. Howard Woodie McDuffie's career has included roles at several logistics companies where he has contributed to business growth and operations.

Mr. McDuffie began his professional journey at Miller Transporters, Inc. in 1977, where he advanced from a cement dispatcher to manager of central dispatch. He later founded the company’s telemarketing and intermodal departments. In 1994, he became president of Miller Intermodal Logistics Services, Inc., helping to expand its operations internationally. He also managed Miller Leasing LLC’s storage tank fleet and supervised the Miller Intermodal Depot in Channelview, Texas.

Since 2006, Mr. McDuffie has worked at KAG Logistics, Inc., where he focuses on ethanol logistics and transloading projects across the country. Outside of work, he has volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Christ United Methodist Church, Bethany Christian Services, and the Boy Scouts of America. His personal interests include fishing trips to Alaska, the Bahamas, and South America, as well as spending time with his grandchildren.
